The Thudbuster ST is Cane Creeks proven shock-absorbing suspension seatpost, engineered to reduce riding pain and dramatically increase comfort. Whether you’re on road, gravel, greenway, or trail, the Thudbuster softens bumps, dips, and drops, making your ride smoother, more enjoyable, and longer-lasting.

Thudbuster ST provides 2 inches (50mm) of travel with a higher rider weight capacity (up to 330lb / 150kg) and a shorter overall post height, making it perfect for riders with lower saddle height requirements or higher weight requirements.

Parallel Linkage Design:

The Thudbuster Parallel Linkage gives a natural suspension feel without being overly active. It maintains the same relative distance from seat to pedals so that you dont feel an awkward bobbing motion as you pedal. The linkage stays in the direct path of the natural travel of the rear wheel. As a bump lifts the back of a bicycle, the rear wheel pushes up and forward into the rider. The Thudbuster linkage compresses along the exact opposite path down and rearward; absorbing force at the same rate, and effectively neutralizing it.

Elastomer-Based -Lightweight, Quiet, Controlled

Thudbuster’s suspension movement is powered by elastomer springs. We chose these super dense blocks of polymer; because they offer several key benefits over metal coil springs. Elastomer springs are lighter, quieter, and don’t bounce erratically. They’re not as likely to creak and squeak as coil-sprung seatposts and their motion is very well controlled. Elastomers are inherently self-damping, meaning that the rebound properties of the material can be engineered so that the seatpost has a very smooth and controlled motion, especially when re-extending after being compressed. Thudbuster moves naturally, disguising its presence until its needed. No bouncing, and no pedal bob.
