This “go/no-go” chain gauge is designed to let you know when your chain reaches .5% and .75% wear, which is when most chain manufacturers recommend replacement. This tool is compatible with most 9 speed through 12 speed chains. For 9 and 10-speed chains, use the 0.75% side and replace when the gauge fits flat into the chain. For 11 and 12-speed chains, use the 0.75% sideand replace when the gauge fits flat into the chain.

The CC-3.2 is a Go / No-Go gauge designed to accurately indicate when a chain reaches 0.5% and 0.75% wear – the point at which most chain manufacturers suggest replacement.
