WHAT A FIND GENUINE BMX ACORN FREESTYLE FREEWHEEL MAG WHEELS FROM MID 80’s THESE WERE MADE IN ENGLAND BY ACORN INTERNATIONAL IN KINGSTON UPON HULL DURING THE 80’s

• THESE WERE FITTED TO BMX’S IN THE EIGHTIES WHEN MAGS WERE ALL THE RAGE, SO IDEAL FOR THAT CLASSIC REBUILD
• THESE ARE IN A CREAM, SLIGHTLY PINKISH COLOUR
• CENTRE OF HUBS ARE ALLOY SO BETTER THAN THE PLASTIC CENTRES YOU NOW FIND.
• REAR HUB HAS 18T EFREEWHEEL
• SUPPLIED WITH WHEEL NUTS
• THESE ARE NOT BASIC SKYWAY TYPE WHEELS, THEY ARE MUCH HIGHER QUALITY.

The moulded part of the wheel is made of ZYTEL SUPER TOUGH, which was produced by Dupont.
The hub plates are LM24 moulded aluminium anodised die castings.
The bearings are SKF shielded precision races.
The hub is held together by five hi-tensile machine screws fitted with lock nuts.

WHERE IN THE WORLD WILL YOU FIND A PAIR OF THESE ORIGINAL MAG WHEELS? NOTE; THESE WHEELS ARE NEARLY TRUE MAGS WERE NEVER PERFECT SO PLEASE DO NOT EXPECT THEM TO BE. ALSO THERE IS MAYBE SLIGHT BIT OF DETERIORATION IN THE HUB WHERE THEY HAVE BEEN STORED, THEY HAVE BEEN STUCK IN THE CORNER FOR SOMEWHERE AROUND 25 YEARS.
